Gifts of water dispensers for frontliners
SIMANGGANG: Soon Heng Sri Aman Association donated two water dispensers to the Sri Aman Resident as a token of appreciation to the frontliners.
The donations were handed over by its chairman Tay Chiew Hua and Temenggong Kuek Aik Seng.
The Sri Aman Division Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) chairman Indit Bangai said, “We in the Sri Aman Division are fortunate to have a caring community and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and this proves that Malaysians are indeed united in fighting the Covid-19.
“We receive contributions almost every day from concerned parties to help meet the needs of our health workers who are involved with the management of Covid-19.”
He said water dispensers were needed by the second Low Risk Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) in Sri Aman. It would operate at the Taman Harmoni Community Hall from next week.
